Lavender Matcha Mocktail

La-La-Lavender!

Lavender has calming and anti-inflammatory properties. You can get these benefits by either ingesting or using Lavender essential oils. Lavender also provides immune system support. I hope you enjoy this Mocktail as a way to start a relaxing day or unwind from a stressful one.

Lavender Matcha Mocktail

Prep Time: 5 min Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/2 tsp of Matcha (I use Pique, 1 packet)

1/4 cup of Filtered Water

8 oz of Lemonade

2 Tbsp Lavender Simple Syrup

Directions

  1. Mix Matcha and Lavender Syrup in 1/4 cup of hot water (don't go above 150 degrees as to not burn the Matcha)

  2. Pour Matcha into a shaker with ice.

  3. Add in Lemonade.

  4. Shake and Pour into a glass! Enjoy!!!

Notes:

For more sweetness you can add more Simple Syrup or half it for less.

Lavender Simple Syrup

Cook Time: 45 min Yields 1 Cup

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. If stored outside the fridge use within 1 week.

Ingredients

1 cup Organic Cane Sugar or Honey

1 cup Filtered Water

2 Tbsp Lavender Flowers

Directions

  1. Add all to a small pot.

  2. Bring to a Boil on medium/high heat.

  3. Stir until sugar dissolves. Then reduce heat and simmer for a minute.

  4. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 mins.

  5. Strain, let cool and store in an airtight container.
